Sober Housing for Single Women and Women with Children

Spence Specialties, LLC, under the umbrella of ANEW Chemical Health Services, provides sober housing for single women, women with children who want a safe place to continue their recovery journey and even families, including fathers, in our 11-unit apartment complex. Our sober living homes are well kept and fully furnished to give our clients a comfortable experience during their treatment period. We have sober housing professionals who will guide you every step of the way in addiction recovery! Spence Specialties, LLC is one of the only sober housing programs that allows children to stay with their mothers in the entire state of Minnesota.

Payment: Most of our spots are paid via Housing Supports Contract (formerly known as GRH) with Ramsey County. Typically, residents pay $150 towards their program fees. We do have several 2-bedroom apartment units that are self-pay or Section 8. We do require a $200 deposit that clients will receive back once they move out as long as they were not asked to leave our program and clean their rooms.

  • Women residing in our sober living are required to engage in our Outpatient Program.

  • We are backed by highly qualified and experienced professionals.

  • We believe in the power of transforming lives through sober housing.

  • We are committed to helping women and women with children recover from addiction.

  • We serve clients from anywhere in the state of Minnesota.

  • Living together as women and mothers in recovery provides a safe space and creates a sense of community.

  • Our sober homes provide women with the chance to practice their recovery skills while residing with their children.

  • Many women have successfully reunified with their children while living in our sober homes.
